New Additions to our Library

We are pleased to announce the acquisition of Gus: An American Icon, during the Buffalo Niagara Film Festival in May of 2010. Syndicado is proud to have been selected as international sales agent and digital distributor and we are seeking local distributors and broadcasters for this 89 minute documentary in HD on the founder of American Jazz dance. We also have secured digital rights in all the territories mentioned.

In June, we completed a sales agency and digital sub-distribution agreement with a major UK distributor of documentaries and will be launching with major and regional digital service providers over the next two quarters.

WORKSHOPS

New Platform Distribution Workshop April 22nd, 6pm-10pm at LIFT in Toronto, Canada.

Come out to our workshop for the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto on New Platform Distribution.

This workshop will focus on digital cable VOD, broadband and mobile distribution for filmmakers. In an interactive session Instructor Greg Rubidge will answer key questions such as: What are new platforms? What are the opportunities to self distribute and is it right for you? What are the challenges and pitfalls of self-distribution? What are the business/revenue models and how much can you expect to make? What alternatives are there to self-distribution? Once my film is ‘online’, now what? Gain valuable knowledge in new revenue opportunities, brand exposure and ongoing digital trends.

Participants are welcome to discuss their projects to receive feedback and develop a plan for distribution.
