Syndicado was formed to service small to medium sized film distributors and independent film and Television producers, seeking new revenue from digital, or new platforms such as VOD, Internet and mobile.
We generate new sales for our content clients, while managing the upfront investment required to launch across new platforms.
For digital service providers, such as MSOs, mobile and Internet electronic VOD and sell through portals, we provide a library of award winning, audience drive documentaries, independent features and kids programming.
We also provide TV sales agency services for the Canadian broadcast market, with a focus on star driven features and character or zeitgeist driven documentaries.
If you're an independent filmmaker with one or two films and looking to have more control over the distribution of your title, click here.
The company was founded by Greg Rubidge, a digital media executive with over 15 years experience covering broadcast TV, mobile product development and interactive. Pre-digital, Rubidge worked as an Analyst in Corporate Banking for CIBC, and in film production for several studio backed features and series. At Corus Entertainment, he planned and lead the launch of the Documentary Channel on Demand, Treehouse on Demand, the Anime Channel on Demand and the first kids mobile TV channels in Canada. He founded one of Canada's first interactive agencies in 1995 and sold the firm to an international U.S. based agency in 2000.
He has been a speaker at industry events on new media and digital distribution, and won the Banff Television Festival's iPitch award for best interactive project.
He is a volunteer with the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy as a digital media adviser.
Syndicado is supported by dedicated team of individuals and partners, each tapped for their focus and field of expertise.
